Greensky Bluegrass is a five-piece American bluegrass jam band that formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2000. The band has evolved from a trio to a quintet, adding electric effects and a full light show to their performances. Their sound blends the acoustic stomp of a string band with the rule-breaking spirit of rock and roll, a mix that has earned them a loyal following.
Winners of the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, the band has released several albums including *Less than Supper*, *Tuesday Letter*, *Shouted, Written Down & Quoted*, and *Stress Dreams*. They have collaborated with notable musicians such as Phil Lesh, Sam Bush, and Billy Strings, and continue to tour extensively, bringing their high-energy live show to audiences across the country.
