MaMuse, the nationally touring folk-soul group led by Sarah Nutting and Karisha Longaker, brings their rich vocal harmonies and multi-instrumental mastery to Portland's Star Theater. Joined by longtime collaborators Scott Elliott Ferreter and Nate Dittmer, the band creates an atmosphere that is both artistically refined and deeply human, inviting audiences to sing, reflect, and connect.

Born from a creative partnership forged in Northern California in 2008, MaMuse draws from folk and gospel traditions while crafting songs that explore belonging, resilience, joy, and grief. Their beloved originals like "We Shall Be Known" and "Hallelujah" have traveled far beyond the stage, finding their way into community choirs, weddings, and gatherings worldwide. The evening features performances that leave listeners feeling more connected to themselves and one another.

This special show coincides with the release of their seventh album, *This Is the Venue*, arriving in August 2026. Featuring the full touring band, the album captures the musical chemistry and collaborative spirit that have become hallmarks of MaMuse's live performances.
