Piff the Magic Dragon (Las Vegas)

Piff the Magic Dragon is the stage persona of English magician John van der Put, who performs in a green, red and yellow dragon costume with deadpan, self-deprecating humour. The Las Vegas production at The Flamingo features showgirl Jade Simone and Mr Piffles II, a chihuahua in dragon attire, in a full-scale stage show that combines stand-up comedy with magic tricks.

Van der Put created the character in 2008, later supporting Mumford and Sons on tour and appearing on America's Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. A decade-long residency on the Las Vegas Strip has brought recognition from the Academy of Magical Arts, which named him Magician of the Year, and multiple Best of Las Vegas honours.
