Riff Wood w/ Willowake at The Basement East

Riff Wood, an indie rock band from Davis County, Utah, brings their high-energy show to The Basement East in Nashville. The trio—Carson Groves, Hyrum Russon, and Asher "Shredder" Winegar—have been playing together since age 11 and won the Utah Battle of the Bands as 9th graders. Now gaining traction on social media, they are independently producing their debut album 'Tough Luck' and have added bassist Isaac Dabb to their live lineup.

Opening the night is Willowake, a South Bay Los Angeles–based alternative indie-rock three-piece. Formed in 2021, the band has built a following through sold-out West Coast shows and viral success on TikTok and Instagram. Their debut EP 'An Alter Ego' was co-produced by Jakob Armstrong, and their latest single "Echo Odd" has amassed over 300k streams on Spotify. Together, these two rising acts promise an evening of fresh indie rock in an intimate venue.
