Summer Tracks of Our Lives 4 with Arthur James, Dax Millan

This intimate evening at the Tractor in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood brings together five alternative and singer-songwriter acts for the fourth edition of Summer Tracks of Our Lives. Headliner Arthur James, a Riverside-born troubadour who has lived across the upper Midwest and Washington, crafts vivid, introspective songs that explore themes of home and displacement. His latest EP, *The 4th Floor*, was recorded at home in West Seattle with minimal instrumentation, capturing the raw sound of a room and real fingers on a fretboard.

Dax Millan, a Seattle-based singer-songwriter since 2016, offers melodic progressions reminiscent of early Sufjan Stevens with Tracy Chapman-esque sliding riffs, translating emotional limbo into lyrical tangibility. The lineup also includes Jade Tether, Lauren Fernandez, and Sabrina Saed, each bringing their own alternative edge to the evening.
