The Royston Club in New York

Formed in Wrexham, Wales, in 2019, The Royston Club emerged from a shared passion for indie music. The quartet—Tom Faithfull, Ben Matthias, Dave Tute, and Sam Jones—began playing covers in secondary school before honing original songs. An open mic night at the Saith Seren pub provided early validation, boosting their confidence to pursue music professionally.

The band quickly made an impact with debut single 'Shawshank', followed by 'Waster' and 'Kerosene', which earned radio play. Their indie rock sound, characterized by melodic guitars and heartfelt lyrics, has built a dedicated fanbase. The name itself comes from an old man's club in Acrefair, a quirky testament to their roots.
