Tom Hook & Wendell Brunious at Snug Harbor

An intimate Sunday afternoon of New Orleans jazz unfolds at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro as part of the venue's Happy Hour Concert Series. Pianist Tom Hook, a veteran entertainer with a career spanning jazz, rock, and theater, joins forces with trumpeter Wendell Brunious, a celebrated figure in the city's traditional jazz lineage. Together, they offer a relaxed set that captures the warmth and elegance of the genre.

Brunious, a former director of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, brings lyrical phrasing and a warm tone honed through collaborations with artists like Wynton Marsalis and Dr. John. Hook, who leads his New Orleans All-Stars and stars in his one-man show Becoming Jelly Roll, adds a dynamic presence.
