Baby Rose is the stage name of Jasmine Rose Wilson, an American neo-soul and R&B singer born in 1994 in Washington, D.C., and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She studied sociology at Spelman College before turning to music full time, releasing her debut mixtape From Dusk 'til Dawn in 2017.

О Baby Rose

Her debut studio album To Myself followed in 2019, drawing early attention from artists including SZA and Kehlani. She built on that foundation with Through and Through in 2023 and the more recent Yearnalism, alongside guest appearances with Dreamville, Big K.R.I.T., BadBadNotGood and Vince Staples, and a contribution to the Creed III soundtrack.

Known for a deep, husky contralto voice, Baby Rose favors sparse, atmospheric production that leaves room for her vocal phrasing, a combination that draws comparisons to earlier generations of soul singers while working within contemporary R&B structures.

She is signed to the independent label Secretly Canadian and has continued to prioritize deliberate, unhurried songwriting over commercial trends.
