О beaux

Beaux is the stage name of Beaux South, a London-born, Surrey-raised singer, songwriter, and producer signed to the label Dirty Hit.

Beaux is the stage name of Beaux South, a London-born, Surrey-raised singer, songwriter, and producer signed to the label Dirty Hit. He began posting cover videos to YouTube at age eight and left school early to pursue music while completing his A-Levels at home.

After watching The 1975 headline Reading Festival in 2019, he began writing original songs and contacted Dirty Hit founder Jamie Oborne directly, which led to a recording contract. His music blends bedroom pop with synth-pop and self-taught production techniques he describes as giving his sound its own quirks.

His early releases include the EPs I Don't Want to Make It With You (2020), a love letter to the moments spent outside (2021), and memories written down so i won't forget them (2021), followed by how can i sleep? i'm wide awake (2022), his first fully studio-recorded EP. He has cited Green Day and The 1975 among his key influences.

Beaux has performed headline shows including a sold-out date at Camden Assembly and has described live performance as his favorite part of the work, alongside continued development of a debut album.
