Sammy Rae & The Friends
Sammy Rae & The Friends is a seven-member band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2016 and led by vocalist Samantha "Sammy Rae" Bowers. The group's sound blends jazz, soul, rock and pop, built around ensemble interplay among guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and a two-piece horn section.

О Sammy Rae & The Friends
The band released the EPs The Good Life (2018) and Let's Throw a Party (2021) before its debut studio album, Something for Everybody, arrived in 2024; the album's single "Thieves" reached number 34 on the Adult Alternative Songs chart. A covers project, Songs We Wish We Wrote, followed in 2025.
Bowers has cited Bruce Springsteen, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and the Beatles among her formative influences alongside gospel and classic rock, and songs such as "Jackie Onassis" have taken up queer and female-empowerment themes. The full ensemble and audience participation have been central to the band's live shows.
