UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell
UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue is a reggae group formed in 2014 by three former members of the Birmingham reggae band UB40: lead vocalist and co-founder Ali Campbell, keyboardist Mickey Virtue and toaster/vocalist Astro (Terence Wilson). Campbell left the original band in January 2008 after nearly three decades, citing concerns over its business management; Virtue departed soon after for similar reasons, and Astro followed in 2013.

О UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell
Barred from using the name UB40 outright after a High Court dispute with the remaining original members, the trio performed and recorded as UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey, later UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and Astro following Virtue's exit in 2018. Their second studio album together, A Real Labour of Love (2018), reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and topped the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, making it the highest-charting UB40-related release since 1993's Promises and Lies.
Continuing in the vein of UB40's Labour of Love series, the group built its live set list and studio output around reggae covers and reinterpretations alongside the reggae-pop originals Campbell had voiced on the original band's hits. Astro died in November 2021, after which Campbell has continued to tour and record the catalogue with surviving members and a supporting band.
