О Young Thug
He built a following through mixtapes including Barter 6 (2015) and the Slime Season series (2015-2016) before Jeffery (2016) drew wider mainstream attention for its genre-blending approach. His 2017 feature on Camila Cabello's "Havana" became his first number-one single, and he won a Grammy Award as a co-writer of Childish Gambino's "This Is America" in 2019.
His studio albums include So Much Fun (2019), Punk (2021), Business Is Business (2023), and UY Scuti (2025), alongside compilation projects Slime Language (2018) and Slime Language 2 (2021) featuring his YSL Records roster. Known for an unconventional, exaggerated vocal delivery that departs from traditional rap phrasing, Williams has been cited by critics and peers as an influential voice in 21st-century hip-hop. He was released from custody in 2024 after accepting a plea deal in a long-running racketeering case.
