This guided urban itinerary, part of the Museu d'Història de Barcelona's Relats Urbans training cycle, takes you through the Raval to uncover how women sustained care, assistance, and daily life in the city. Led by Elena Pérez Guerra, the walk traces a path from medieval charity to modern forms of welfare, highlighting the roles of beguines, healers, wet nurses, nurses, and workers in charitable institutions.

The route begins at the Chapel of Sant Llàtzer and ends at the former Casa de la Caritat, near the CCCB. It offers a chance to see Barcelona's historic and heritage assets through a fresh lens, as conceived by students of the 2025-2026 course. The activity is free, but advance booking is required, and it is conducted in Catalan unless otherwise arranged.
