Taller El Collagista con La Fontanería Creativa

This three-session workshop at the Public Library of Burgos invites children aged 7 to 12 to explore what happens when images and words meet. Participants create one-of-a-kind postcards by playing with cut-outs, colours, shapes and surprising messages. The hands-on sessions cover torn-paper collage, geometric collage and combinations with other artistic techniques, with room for both individual and group creations.

The workshop also offers a glimpse into how contemporary children's book illustrators use collage, turning the library's multipurpose room into a small laboratory of ideas. With just fifteen places and the same group staying together throughout, the experience is intentionally collaborative, encouraging every child to experiment, create and tell stories in a different way.
