Talleres de Libreta fácil (5-9 años)

In this hands-on workshop, young artists aged 5 to 9 build their very own notebook from scratch. Guided step by step in a fun and safe environment, they learn to fold pages and stitch them together using a simple three-hole binding technique, create their own scratch-art paper by scraping colors for surprising effects, and decorate unique covers with hand-made techniques like stamping, engraving, stickers, and more. By the end, each participant takes home a finished notebook ready to fill with summer drawings, secrets, or adventures.

The session takes place at the Imprenta Municipal. Artes del libro, a museum dedicated to the art of books, located in the Embajadores district of Madrid. It is recommended to wear clothes that can get stained, as tempera paints are used, and children must attend with a responsible adult. The workshop lasts one and a half hours and is free of charge, with registration available online or in person starting from late August.
