Arnaud Roulin: Voyage Pentatonique at Studio de l'Ermitage

Pianist and composer Arnaud Roulin brings his new album *Voyage Pentatonique* to the intimate Studio de l'Ermitage in Paris. Following the critical success of his debut *Massages for Piano*, this solo performance blends piano and synthesizers into what is described as a cosmic chamber work for piano and synth-phonic orchestra, where composition meets improvisation.

Roulin's music draws from a wide range of influences, from Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Pink Floyd to Mahler and Kraftwerk, creating a unique fusion of jazz, classical, and atmospheric sounds. The evening celebrates the humanity of creation, embracing accident, the unknown, and chance in an era of artificial intelligence and automated music.

Presented as part of the Festival Jazz à la Villette and Under the Radar, this concert offers a rare opportunity to experience Roulin's innovative solo work live. The artist has previously performed alongside Jeanne Added, Laurent Bardainne, and Thomas de Pourquery.
