Читать все подробности

Every summer, the banks of the Seine transform into a temporary urban beach under the Paris Plages scheme. Since its launch in 2002, this initiative has turned roadways into sandy retreats with palm trees, offering a seaside escape in the heart of the city. Visitors can enjoy a range of free activities, including tai chi, qi gong, and kung fu sessions led by the French Federation of Energetic and Martial Chinese Arts each morning.

The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with spaces for lounging, strolling, and participating in sports. The program has expanded over the years to include multiple locations along the Seine and the Bassin de la Villette, with supervised swimming areas now available in the river itself. It's a beloved Parisian tradition that brings a touch of the coast to the capital, drawing millions of visitors each season.
