The Philharmonie de Paris presents a unique cinematic experience with ¡Que viva México!, a live film concert accompanying Sergei Eisenstein's unfinished masterpiece. The adventurous Parisian group NLF3, known for their mastery of the film-concert format, provides a striking musical backdrop that amplifies the visual power of the Soviet director's work.

NLF3's music oscillates between post-rock and electronic, with occasional tropicalist influences, creating a vivid and never merely illustrative accompaniment. The ensemble features Fabrice Laureau on bass, sampler, and vocals; Nicolas Laureau on Fender Rhodes, electric guitar, melodica, and synthesizer; Ludovic Morillon on percussion and guitar; and Jean-Michel Pirès on percussion. Their 2004 creation for this film remains emblematic, offering rich echoes to Eisenstein's imagery.
