Blackpool is England's classic seaside resort, built around the 1894 Tower, three Victorian piers and the Pleasure Beach amusement park. Each autumn its seafront runs six miles of illuminated lights, a Victorian-era tradition that still draws crowds to the promenade and Golden Mile.
