Enrico Rava Fearless Five

Enrico Rava, the legendary Italian jazz trumpeter, brings his Fearless Five project to the intimate Casa del Jazz in Rome. The band, formed in 2023, features a new generation of Italian jazz talent: trombonist Matteo Paggi, double bassist Francesco Ponticelli, drummer and singer Evita Polidoro, and guitarist Francesco Diodati. Together they reinterpret Rava's classic compositions, including tracks from the 2024 album *Fearless Five*.

Rava's career spans decades, from his early work with Gato Barbieri and Steve Lacy to collaborations with icons like Cecil Taylor and Pat Metheny. The Fearless Five showcases his enduring creativity, blending bebop roots with avant-garde energy.
