Feast of Our Lady of Pompei- Marsaxlokk

Marsaxlokk, Malta's best-known fishing village, celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of Pompei on Saturday 1 August 2026. Streets and the waterfront are decorated, and band clubs perform through the day ahead of a procession carrying the statue of Our Lady through the village.

Fireworks in the evening reflect across Marsaxlokk's natural harbour, a setting distinct from inland village feasts elsewhere in Malta. Food stalls sell the usual festa fare alongside the working harbour's fish restaurants. Entry to the feast is free.
