Diogo Pimentão: Força Transitória das Coisas

Drawing takes centre stage in this exhibition by Portuguese artist Diogo Pimentão, whose practice redefines the boundaries of the discipline. Working primarily with paper and graphite, often combined with cement, plaster, acrylic or wood, Pimentão also incorporates video and performance into his pieces.

At the CAM, visitors can experience sculptural drawings born from a performative action carried out in the gallery space by the artist himself, alongside French dancer and choreographer Emmanuel Eggermont. The result is a dynamic interplay between drawing, sculpture and movement that challenges traditional artistic categories.
