Menos de Cão Solteiro & André Godinho

This performance marks the end of 29 years of pioneering work in contemporary Portuguese theatre. It is a celebration of invention, transformation, and resistance, built with friends, companions, and comrades—stories of love and death that form the lives of those involved.

Attendees can expect a festive gathering featuring a creation by Cão Solteiro and André Godinho, with a cast including Ana Libório, André Godinho, Cecília Henriques, Greg Wohead, Joana Silva Fernandes, Marcelo Tavares, Noelle Georg, Paula Sá Nogueira, Paulo Lages, Silvana Ivaldi, Ti Jácome, and DJ Cansada. The show is part of the Alkantara Festival 2026 and includes a session with Portuguese Sign Language interpretation on November 15.

The event takes place at the historic Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, a fitting venue for this significant farewell. All who have ever been part of the Cão Solteiro community are invited to join the celebration.
