Читать все подробности

The outdoor cinema cycle No País do Cinema returns to Polo Cultural Gaivotas | Boavista, part of the multidisciplinary Gaivotas no Pátio programme that blends theatre, dance, circus, music, and film. Curated by Os Filhos de Lumière, this year's theme is "O Lugar onde vivemos!" — a selection of films that invite reflection on how we live in and with this place, who we are, and the relationships we build with our surroundings and each other.

Each screening is followed by a dialogue session where the audience can exchange ideas with invited guests. The programme features works by acclaimed directors such as Aki Kaurismäki's "Nuvens Passageiras", Alice Rohrwacher's "Feliz como Lázaro", and Joaquim Pinto's "Onde Bate o Sol", among others. The cycle also integrates the European CinEd programme, coordinated in Portugal by Os Filhos de Lumière and at European level by Cinemateca Portuguesa.

Set in the intimate courtyard of Polo Cultural Gaivotas | Boavista, the event offers a unique atmosphere for film lovers to enjoy thought-provoking cinema under the summer sky. With a diverse lineup spanning Finnish melancholy, Italian neorealism, and Portuguese rural dramas, it's a chance to experience both classic and contemporary works in a convivial, open-air setting.
