Rita Fernandes: Virtues at 8 Marvila

Rita Fernandes presents "Virtues", an installation that reflects on power and responsibility in contemporary times. The exhibition transforms virtues into symbolic pillars of a collective experience, inspired by classical Greco-Roman architecture. Through 15 paintings, drawings, three-dimensional objects, and video, it creates a "facade" that questions the ethical principles of governance.

Visitors can explore the instability, fragility, and human dimension behind power structures. The exhibition invites the public to consider the values that sustain the exercise of power and civic participation. Curated by Joane Brandão de Carvalho, the show runs at 8 Marvila in Lisbon.
