Terra Crua is an exhibition at MAC/CCB in Lisbon that explores raw earth as a natural, local, and available resource for contemporary architecture. Curated by Madalena Vidigal, the show moves from the physical and mineral complexity of soil to accumulated knowledge and practices that reclaim earth as a viable, ethical, and poetic building material.

Visitors can discover scientific and historical content, prototypes, case studies, and collaborative experiments that analyze and reuse excavated earth from construction sites in Lisbon. The exhibition highlights the performance and potential of earth as a circular resource, opening possibilities for its role in building the city.

A guided tour is available on 19 July at 11h. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10h to 18h30.
