Vítor Pomar: Lembrança da Palestina

The exhibition "Lembrança da Palestina" by Vítor Pomar presents a dialogue between large-scale paintings and an intimate, provocative conversation with an advanced AI system, Chat GPT. The conversation, printed on suspended scrolls, reads like a speculative discussion between two interlocutors, forming a personal diary that the artist has developed throughout his project dedicated to Palestine.

Housed in the Galeria do Torreão Nascente da Cordoaria Nacional, the show features monumental painted panels that were worked on in silence for about a year in Pomar's studio in Assentiz, near Rio Maior. The installation spans two side rooms, offering visitors a contemplative experience that blends visual art with textual inquiry.
