George Enescu International Competition 2026

Since 1958, the George Enescu International Competition has been a cornerstone of classical music, launching careers of renowned pianists, violinists, cellists, and composers. Held in Bucharest, Romania, it originally ran alongside the George Enescu Festival, gathering jurors like Claudio Arrau and Nadia Boulanger. After a hiatus, the competition resumed and continues to attract young talent from around the world.
