Madeon Live in Portland

French producer and DJ Madeon first made his name with the viral "Pop Culture" video, in which he mashed up 39 popular songs in real time on a Novation Launchpad. His catalogue now includes the albums Adventure and Good Faith, and his sound sits at the crossover of electronic pop and house music.

On stage, Madeon works with Launchpads, an Allen & Heath mixer controller, and Ableton Live, building his songs out live rather than playing back a static set. He has opened for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball and appeared at major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza.

His tracks have appeared on soundtracks from Forza Horizon to FIFA and The Mitchells vs. the Machines, and he cites Daft Punk and the Beatles as key influences. It is a chance to see a producer whose craft has evolved from a bedroom Launchpad clip to festival stages.
