The Mars Volta Live in Orlando

The Mars Volta brings its dense, theatrical take on progressive rock to Hard Rock Live at Universal Orlando's CityWalk. The band is built around the long-running partnership of guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López and vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala, who expanded into a more experimental direction after their earlier group At the Drive-In.

Expect an energetic live show rooted in concept albums and shifting arrangements, drawing on records from De-Loused in the Comatorium and Frances the Mute to the self-titled reunion album and Lucro Sucio; Los Ojos del Vacio. The current stage lineup includes founding bassist Eva Gardner, keyboardist Marcel Rodríguez-López, pianist/keyboardist Leo Genovese, and drummer Linda-Philomène Tsoungui.

The venue sits inside CityWalk, with additional parking fees applying in the surrounding area. For general-admission floor shows, a wheelchair area with companion seating is available on the raised perimeter, and guests can be escorted.
