Greensky Bluegrass brings their signature blend of acoustic bluegrass and rock 'n' roll to Grand Rapids. Formed in Kalamazoo in 2000, the five-piece band has evolved from a trio to a full ensemble with a dynamic light show. Their sound mixes traditional string band elements with electric effects, creating an energetic live experience.
The band has a storied career, winning the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition in 2006. They have shared stages with notable acts like Phil Lesh and Billy Strings.
