Mississippi Heat, an American blues band based in Chicago and led by harmonica player Pierre Lacocque, brings its traditional yet unique sound to Kingston Mines. Formed in 1991, the band has recorded 12 albums and toured internationally, rooted in the golden era of Chicago blues.
Kingston Mines features two stages with rotating sets, including an early acoustic set by Gerry Hundt. Doc's Kitchen serves Southern fare like catfish, wings, burgers, and beignets. The venue operates with general seating and a 21+ policy, creating an intimate, late-night blues experience.
