Riff Wood with Cherry Bombs at Crescent Ballroom

Riff Wood, an alternative rock band from Davis County, Utah, brings their high-energy show to Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix. The trio—Carson Groves, Hyrum Russon, and Asher "Shredder" Winegar—have been friends since age 11 and won the Utah Battle of the Bands as 9th graders. Now making waves on social media, they are independently producing their debut album 'Tough Luck' and have added live bassist Isaac Dabb for extra stage presence.

Opening the night are the Cherry Bombs, a San Diego–based band of teenage musicians—Sammie on guitar, Bella on bass, and Evelyn on drums—who blend rock, pop, and alternative with a fully collaborative approach.
