Tournament of Kings

Tournament of Kings is a medieval-themed dinner show at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Audience members are treated to a three-course meal featuring Cornish game hen, typically eaten without utensils. The show features knights on horseback jousting, playing Capture the Flag, and engaging in a climactic battle with pyrotechnics.

The story follows King Arthur, who invites eight European kings to a sporting contest celebrating his son Christopher. The villain Mordred kills King Arthur, but Christopher ultimately vanquishes Mordred and is crowned king. The show encourages audience participation and has been a family favorite since it opened in 1990.

Originally called King Arthur's Tournament when it debuted in June 1990, the show underwent a major revamp in 1999 and reopened as Tournament of Kings. With over 6,000 performances under its original name, it has remained a staple of Las Vegas entertainment for decades.
