Since 1986, Sunday Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe has been a cherished Nashville tradition, offering a platform for up-and-coming songwriters who have earned their spot through an audition. Hosted by local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie, each performer delivers a three-song set in an intimate listening-room environment designed to nurture their craft.
Thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), tickets are free, with only minimal fees applied to support website maintenance. The venue features 18 tables, 8 bar seats, and 8 pew church seats available for reservation, with additional pew seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open. A $15 per seat food and drink minimum applies.
