Читать все подробности
Trampled by Turtles bring their fast, frenetic string-band music to Charlotte with Futurebirds on the bill. The Duluth, Minnesota group came together in 2003 when frontman Dave Simonett, left with only an acoustic guitar after his gear was stolen, recruited fellow newcomers to acoustic music. Their sound—built on guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, cello and bass—owes as much to rock & roll as to bluegrass, landing somewhere in Americana and folk.
Over two decades of festival appearances, from Bonnaroo to Newport Folk, the band has kept that energy in a live setting. This concert brings it all to Charlotte alongside Futurebirds, promising a lively, full-hearted evening of roots music.
