Golden State Valkyries
The Golden State Valkyries are a Women's National Basketball Association franchise based in San Francisco, California, playing home games at Chase Center while housing their practice facility and front office across the bay in Oakland. The team began play in the 2025 season as the WNBA's first expansion franchise since the Atlanta Dream joined the league in 2008.

نبذة عن Golden State Valkyries
The Valkyries are owned by Joe Lacob and Peter Guber, who also hold ownership of the NBA's Golden State Warriors. Jess Smith serves as team president, Ohemaa Nyanin as general manager, and Natalie Nakase as head coach.
Despite entering the league as an expansion team, the Valkyries set a WNBA record for wins by a first-year expansion franchise, finishing the 2025 season with a 23-21 record and becoming the first expansion team in league history to reach the playoffs in its debut season. Nakase was named WNBA Coach of the Year, guard Veronica Burton won Most Improved Player and earned All-Defensive Second Team honors, and forward Janelle Salaün was named to the All-Rookie Team.
The Valkyries also set WNBA attendance records in their inaugural season, selling out all twenty-two home games at Chase Center, reflecting strong early support for the team in the Bay Area.
