Larnaca Salt Lake	Free	1 hour	A protected Ramsar/Natura 2000 wetland of four linked salt lakes on the edge of town where thousands of migratory greater flamingos gather each winter; a 4km signposted nature trail runs from the lakeshore to the Kamares Aqueduct.
Finikoudes Beach and Promenade	Free	1-2 hours	Larnaca's palm-lined, Blue Flag town beach and seafront promenade running past the marina, cafes and restaurants; the city's main gathering place for evening walks and swimming right in the centre.
Larnaca Medieval Castle	€2.50	45 minutes	A seafront fort at the end of Finikoudes promenade, rebuilt by the Ottomans on earlier Lusignan/Genoese foundations, now housing a small medieval museum with artefacts from the Early Christian to Ottoman periods and rooftop sea views.

Kamares Aqueduct	Free	15-20 minutes	A row of stone Ottoman-era arches built in 1746 by governor Bekir Pasha to carry water into Larnaca from a spring 10km away; illuminated at night and a popular photo stop at the edge of the Salt Lake trail.
Pierides Museum - Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation	€3	1 hour	Cyprus's oldest private museum, housed in a 19th-century mansion, displaying the Pierides family's collection of Cypriot pottery, glass, and figurines spanning the Neolithic to medieval periods.
Zenobia Wreck	Varies	Half-day (2-dive trip)	A 172m Swedish ferry that sank just outside Larnaca harbour in 1980 with its cargo of lorries still aboard, ranked among the world's top wreck-diving sites and dived from Larnaca by everyone from advanced open-water divers to technical wreck specialists.
Lefkara Village	Free	2-3 hours	A mountain village about 40km from Larnaca famous for Lefkara lace (lefkaritika, on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list) and silver filigree, with cobbled streets of craft shops and a small museum of traditional embroidery and silversmithing.
