Café Filosófico in Madrid

Every other Sunday, the Biblioteca Pública Municipal Iván de Vargas in Madrid's Centro district opens its Sala Madrid for a philosophical café. Led by philosophy professor César Prestel, the sessions invite attendees to think and converse together around fundamental questions of existence, society, and culture. No prior background in philosophy is needed—just a willingness to engage in dialogue.

The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with free entry until capacity is reached. Participants must be at least 14 years old. The series runs through the autumn, offering a regular opportunity to pause and reflect in the heart of the city. These gatherings provide a space for meaningful conversation in a relaxed setting.
