Grupo Alturaz Al Andalusí in Madrid

Grupo Alturaz Al Andalusí brings the sounds of Sufi and Andalusian music to Madrid's Auditorio Joaquín Rosado. The ensemble, rooted in the Arab musical traditions of Syria, also draws on repertoires from Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, and Morocco. Their performances are known for their visual impact, particularly the whirling dervish dance that originates from Turkey.

Attendees can expect a rich cultural experience as the group has performed at numerous events and festivals across Sweden, Tunisia, Germany, Morocco, and Spain. The lineup features Wafir Shaikhaldin on vocals, Arabic lute, Arabic flute, and percussion; Salah Sabbagh on percussion and backing vocals; and Mohamed Babli as dancer.
