The Comedy Store Players - Sunday 18th October, London

The Comedy Store Players, an improvisational comedy group, perform at The Comedy Store in London on 18 October 2026, 19:30. The group first came into being in October 1985 and performs once a week on Sundays at The Comedy Store. Shows last approximately 2 hours, including an interval, and the cast play 6 or 7 games in that time.

There is no single host and no points to be won, as the players rotate the introduction and performing duties. Performances are usually with the regular cast, although a guest performer occasionally appears. The current regular cast members are Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Ruth Bratt.

Games usually include Whoops, in which each performer takes a turn to tell a story and the audience shouts "Whoops! " when someone makes a mistake.

Other games are Freeze Tag, Guess The Job, Translation, Film & Theatre Styles, Musical, Emotions and The Three Headed Expert. In 2010 the group was in the Guinness World Records for being the world's longest-running comedy show with the same cast.
