Panchiko at Manchester New Century Hall, 28 October 2026

Panchiko play Manchester New Century Hall in Manchester on 28 October 2026 at 19:00. The band is a British indie rock group originating from Nottingham, England. In December 2021 they played their first show in over twenty years in their hometown of Nottingham, after which they went on their first tour in the United States.

The band first drew public attention in 2016, when a 4chan user discovered their 2000 demo EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L in a charity shop in Sherwood, Nottingham and shared it online. The disc was distorted by disc rot, and that led to a cult following and an online community devoted to tracking down the band. Panchiko formed between 1997 and 1998, and the name comes from an unintentional misspelling of pachinko.
