Backrooms – Cinema Screening

Backrooms – Cinema Screening takes place at Draíocht Blanchardstown in Dublin on 30 October 2026 at 19:30, in the Main Auditorium. It is the Everything Must Go Edition With Bonus Footage, presented by Draíocht in association with Access Cinema, and is rated Cert 15A. The film follows Clark, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, who owns a struggling furniture store and has started living in his shop amid a failing marriage. After an electricity issue takes him to the basement, he finds a gap in the wall that leads to the 'backrooms', a vast labyrinth of seemingly empty rooms. When Clark and some staff disappear while investigating, his therapist Mary enters the backrooms to find her patient. Kane Parsons directs this debut feature, adapting his own web series. Renate Reinsve and Mark Duplass also star. The film is in English with open captions. Tickets cost €7.50, or €6 concessions.
