Chad Gray: 30 Years of Madnesss

Chad Gray brings three decades of heavy metal to Charlotte with a show centered on his career as the frontman of Mudvayne and Hellyeah. He first broke through with Mudvayne, whose debut L.D. 50 sold over half a million copies in its first year. After Mudvayne went on hiatus, Gray formed the supergroup Hellyeah with Nothingface's Tom Maxwell and former Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul; Mudvayne later reunited after more than a decade away.

Joining Gray on the bill are Devil's Cut and Butcher Babies, making for an evening of full-bodied metal in an all-ages, general-admission room. For fans of Gray's discography, from Mudvayne's early records to his later projects, it's a chance to hear that catalog performed live in a standing-room setting.
