Danny Tobias Quartet

Trenton native Danny Tobias brings his quartet to Birdland Jazz Club for an evening of beautifully shaped, swinging jazz. A professional since his teens and mentored by Tony DiNicola and Kenny Davern, Tobias is celebrated for his artful improvisation and eclectic style, drawing deep influence from Louis Armstrong, Ruby Braff, and Buck Clayton.

The evening promises a repertoire that ranges across jazz styles, performed with the individuality and subtlety that have made Tobias a fixture on the New York scene.
