The Spits With Sux & Dish Pit at Clock-Out Lounge

The Spits headline a punk-and-post-punk bill at Clock-Out Lounge, with Sux and Dish Pit opening. Formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1993 and later based in Seattle, the band still plays loud, noisy, dirty punk rock, often in costumes like graduation robes, nun outfits or Ronald Reagan masks. Their latest LP VI was recorded on a four-track cassette.

The night keeps the raw, low-budget garage-punk spirit that has followed the band since its early Seattle years. Sux brings relentless rock energy, Dish Pit offers what’s billed as 'sopping industry thrash and trash,' and The Spits cap it all with the kind of livewire gigs that earned them an early good word from Mudhoney’s Steve Turner.
