Leonid and Friends Live in Milwaukee

Leonid and Friends bring their acclaimed tribute to the music of Chicago to Milwaukee. Originally formed in Moscow as a YouTube project, the band has grown into a touring powerhouse, faithfully recreating the complex horn-driven sound of Chicago and other classic rock acts. With a lineup of over a dozen musicians from across Eastern Europe, their performances capture the energy and precision of the original recordings.

Attendees can expect a setlist spanning Chicago's greatest hits, along with covers of Earth, Wind & Fire, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Steely Dan. The band's instrumental arsenal includes brass, reeds, and strings, creating a full orchestral rock experience. They have released three Chicago tribute albums titled Chicagovich, and their 2026 tour continues a run of sold-out US performances since 2019.

The band’s founder, Leonid Vorobyev, first recorded a Chicago cover video in 2014. In 2024, they performed on a classic rock cruise alongside other bands. During their 2019 Arlington Heights date, Chicago’s original drummer Danny Seraphine joined them on stage.
