Born and raised in East Texas, Paul Cauthen’s music is steeped in the a cappella hymns of his church upbringing and the songwriting heritage of his grandfather, who shared a connection with Buddy Holly. After cutting his teeth in the duo Sons of Fathers, Cauthen launched a solo career that now spans five albums, including the introspective *Room 41* and his latest, *Book of Paul*.
