Santiago Cruz Vélez is a Colombian singer-songwriter born in Ibagué, the musical capital of Colombia. Raised by his mother and grandmothers, he moved to Bogotá to study Finance but always knew music was his calling.

Cruz launched his debut album in 2003 and quickly gained recognition, sharing stages with stars like Alejandro Sanz. His 2017 album *Trenes, aviones y viajes interplanetarios* earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Singer-Songwriter Album, while his humanitarian work as a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador highlights his commitment to peace.
