Shudder To Think Reunites at the Masonic Lodge

Shudder To Think, the seminal Washington, D.C. post-hardcore band known for its unclassifiable sound and adventurous albums, will perform at the historic Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. The band emerged from the late ’80s D.C. punk scene with a string of groundbreaking records on Dischord Records before signing to Epic and releasing the cult classic *Pony Express Record* in 1994—a landmark album that continues to inspire.

Attendees can expect a set spanning the band’s entire catalog, including material from their early Dischord years, the angular art-rock of *Pony Express Record*, and the more melodic *50,000 B.C.*. The current lineup features original members Craig Wedren (vocals), Stuart Hill (bass), and guitarist Nathan Larson, alongside drummer Adam Wade (ex-Jawbox) and new members Jherek Bischoff (bass) and Clint Walsh (guitar).

This reunion marks the band’s first L.A. show in over a decade, following a return to live performances in 2025. The intimate setting of the Masonic Lodge, a 1931 landmark without elevators, promises a rare close-up experience with one of rock’s most singular acts.
